JUNIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL THIS SATURDAY
All roads lead to Killavullen this coming Saturday evening, September 19th, as Kilworth once again contest Newtownshandrum in the final of the Denis Gallagher Refrigeration JB2 Hurling Championship with throw in fixed for 5pm. In a highly entertaining, edge of the seat encounter last season Kilworth put up a great battle and were very unlucky in the final quarter not to pip at least an equalizer before the full-time whistle in a game which Newtownshandrum came out on top by a single point, 1-13 to 0-17. This season Kilworth overcame the challenge of Ballyhea (0-20 to 1-06) before receiving a walkover from Liscarroll/Churchtown Gaels in the group stages to reach the final, and with old rivals and 2025 competition winners Newtownshandrum now left standing in their way of re-capturing the throne, it is sure to be another very competitive fixture. The club would like to wish all the players, and their management team the very best of luck as they set out to secure the clubs eleventh title at this grade of hurling, so be sure to come along and support the lads in their pursuit of silverware.

WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO RESULTS
There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €4,600 held on Monday September 07th. The numbers drawn were: 11, 23, 30, & 32. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Ciara Lynch c/o Online. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Sheena O’Connor c/o John O’Connor, Denise Walsh c/o Online, & Martha O’Sullivan c/o Centra. The jackpot prize on Monday September 14th is €4,800.
