All roads lead to Glanworth this coming Saturday afternoon, November 07th, as Kilworth contest Ballycastle Gaels in the eagerly awaited final of the Country Clean Recycling sponsored U21 B Hurling Championship with throw in fixed for 2pm. The club would like to wish all the players, and their management team the very best of luck, so be sure to come along and support the lads in their pursuit of the Jack Morrissey Cup.

SOLID WIN FOR JUNIOR FOOTBALLERS
Last Thursday night, October 29th, our Junior footballers travelled to Mourneabbey to take on Rockchapel in the Quarter-Final of the McCarthy Insurance Group sponsored Junior B Football County Championship. Kilworth made a flying start to the contest and, although the men in maroon and white opened the scoring, they quickly imposed themselves on proceedings. Dominating from the outset, Kilworth surged into control and delivered a devastating first-half performance, finding the net on an impressive five occasions as they built a commanding eighteen-point lead on the Duhallow champions. Half-time score; 5-09 to 0-06.
Kilworth maintained their momentum after the interval and, while the scoring rate eased somewhat in the second half, they never relinquished their grip on the game. Producing a strong, disciplined display from start to finish, Kilworth’s fitness and determination proved decisive as they completed an emphatic sixty-minute performance in what was ultimately a one-sided, high-scoring encounter. Full-time score; Kilworth 6-13, Rockchapel 0-10.
This impressive victory sees Kilworth advance to the County Junior B Football Championship Semi-Final, where they will face either Seandún representatives Douglas or Muskerry representatives Blarney on the weekend of November 13th to 15th. With confidence high and momentum building, Kilworth will be hoping to carry this rich vein of form into the penultimate stage of the competition.
