HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP THIS SUNDAY
This coming Bank Holiday Sunday August 02nd, all roads lead to Rathcormac as Kilworth contest Ballymartle in the opening round of the Co-Op Superstores Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship with throw-in fixed for 2pm. The club would like to wish the best of luck to the entire panel of players and their management team. All support is greatly appreciated.
Patrons are reminded to purchase tickets in advance of the game online at www.gaacork.ie as ticket sales will not be available at the venue.

KILWORTH COMMUNITY AND GAA FESTIVAL 2026
CLG Chill Uird and Kilworth Community Council are delighted to join forces once again for the annual Kilworth Festival, which gets underway this coming Sunday August 2nd until Sunday, August 9th, and promises to be a fantastic week of community spirit, entertainment, and activities for all ages. Make sure to mark your calendars and join us for what is sure to be another memorable Kilworth Festival!

KANTURK V FR. O’NEILL’S
This coming Saturday evening, August 01st at 7pm, CLG Chill Uird will play host to Kanturk and Fr. O’Neill’s in their opening round clash of the Co-Op Superstores sponsored Cork Premier Senior Hurling Championship. The club would like to remind patrons to expect an extra-large volume of traffic in the vicinity during this timeframe and also that ample parking facilities are available directly opposite the pitch grounds. CLG Chill Uird wishes both teams along with the matchday officials the very best of luck.

CONGRATULATIONS
Comhghairdeas to the Kilworth trio of Brian Tobin (Captain), Declan Tobin, & Kieran Walsh who last Saturday afternoon celebrated All-Ireland success with the Cork Masters as they defeated the Limerick Masters on a scoreline of 0-20 to 1-12 in the All-Ireland Hurling Challenge Cup Final in Athenry. We hope that ye enjoyed celebrating this tremendous achievement lads. Well done!

WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO RESULTS
There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €3,200 held on Monday July 20th. The numbers drawn were: 05, 12, 24, & 32. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Brian, Emeila, Willie Gill c/o Centra. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were John Griffin c/o Yearly, Pat Roche c/o Patsy O’Mahony, & Noel Daly c/o Ber Wheeler. The jackpot prize on Monday July 27th is €3,400.
