STRONG FOUNDATIONS CAMPAIGN
Introduction:
The construction of our new GAA complex is well underway with Phase 1 that includes the four dressing rooms, public toilets, lift, access to the balcony, storage areas and plant room. This is forecast for completion on time and within budget towards the end of the summer 2025. Our focus has now turned to the completion of Phase 2 and the jewel in the crown of this development - Our Community Gym.
We have an opportunity to bring Phase 2 forward significantly and to complete the same alongside Phase 1, however in order to do so we will need to make up the shortfall in funding of circa €200,000 in a short period of time. It is imperative that we complete this work so the community can get the maximum benefit from the development. It is our main goal that the gym is an asset to be used by all members of the community for years to come. Once completed this gym will be open to all community members at the same rate as GAA members.
What do benefactors get:
All contributors will have their names inscribed on a benefactors wall in our new clubhouse to permanently acknowledge their key role in allowing us to complete the development.

All of the above options include one Cork GAA Rebels Bounty ticket for either 2025 or 2026. Alternative donation options can also be discussed, just approach any committee member privately to discuss how we can accommodate and acknowledge.
Club Tax benefit:
When donating, club representatives will take you through all options and will also fill out forms which will enable the club to benefit further from revenue for these personal donations (This is at no additional cost and has no implication for the person donating).

KILWORTH JUVENILE GAA CLUB NOTES
U14 HURLING
Kilworth/Araglen U14 had their first hurling game of the year in Kilworth on a cold St. Patrick's Day morning. Na Piarsaigh were the visitors, and the pitch was in great condition for the time of year. Both teams gave everything, and Kilworth/Araglen emerged victorious in the end. It was a great start to the hurling calendar with encouraging performances from Sean Bonnar and Caleb Clancy. As well as producing some great hurling, the team played in a splendid new set of jerseys kindly sponsored by Synergy Credit Union.
U16 HURLING
Our First league match for our U16 Premier 2 hurling team was played against Charleville in Kilworth on Sunday afternoon last. It was a lovely day for hurling and great to be out on the pitches after been closed for so long. Charleville started well and were aided by their goalkeepers long puckouts and their ability to catch clean ball in the air. At half time Charleville were 6 points up and passing the ball well. Our lads battled hard for the second half but Charleville maintained their lead, running out 5 point winners. Our next hurling outing will be away against Youghal on the 7th of April.
REMINDER
A gentle reminder to all team mentors to have their match reports submitted to the juvenile club PRO by Monday evening for inclusion in the weekly notes.
