REBELS BOUNTY DRAW EXTENDED TO MARCH 1ST


Sincere thanks to everyone who has supported Kilworth GAA with the Rebels Bounty draw for 2022. There is still time to get in on the act @WWW.GAACORK.IE/REBELSBOUNTY with the date for purchase of tickets been extended by 5 days to 1pm on Tuesday next March 1st with the January and February draws taking place at 7pm that evening. There are 60 prizes on offer ranging from €20k for first to €150 for 30th in both draws.  Best of luck to all members entered!

Thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket to date and special thanks to our draw co-ordinator Patsy O’Mahony, treasurer Mossie McNamara and all our sellers. Thanks to Kilworth Camogie Club, Kilworth Juvenile GAA Club and Kilworth Ladies football club for their support in getting behind this major fundraising opportunity. With all funds raised going directly into our new club development current and future members of each club and the wider Kilworth community and surrounding areas will benefit from this for years to come.


CLUB LOTTO UP TO €16,600

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €16,400 held on Monday February 21st, the numbers drawn were: 3, 7, 21 and 24. The lucky dip winner of €50 was. Micksey O’Brien c/o Aherne’s. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Dan Griffin c/o Cotters, Aoife Dahill c/o Online, Pippa Kirwan c/o The Village Inn.  

Next week’s jackpot on Monday February 28th is €16,600.  Tickets cost just €2 each or 3 lines for €5 and they are available online, in the local business outlets or from your usual local sellers. As always, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP NOW DUE

Club membership for 2022 is now open on the GAA membership site ‘Foireann’ and we would ask that you pay your membership as soon as possible. The playing season is upon us, and all players and management teams must be paid up member in advance of returning to training and playing games. If anyone has any questions or issues with the system, please contact Club Registrar Alan Kenny on 0868536501. New members are always very welcome

VOTES OF SYMPATHY

The club would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the Gowen, O’Brien, Sheehan and O’Driscoll families on the sad passing of Wally Gowen. He was a wonderful man, and a great club supporter who will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and many friends at this difficult time. May he rest in peace. Sympathies are also expressed to the Egan family Fermoy and the McDonnell family Kilworth, and to the Hynes families, Dublin, Kildare and Wexford following their recent bereavements.
