Pipped at the post! Newport from Tipperary took home the Scór Léiriú title last Saturday night in Cork City Hall with Kilworth coming a very close second missing out by the smallest of margins, just 2 points! The group were understandably very disappointed but it was a wonderful achievement to come runner up in such a highly contested category. On behalf of the club we would like to commend Joe Aherne Jnr, Chris O’Mahony, Bebhinn Kenneally, Mike O’Brien, Shane Donnellan, Liam Kenny and Producer Liam Howard on another wonderful performance and for the fantastic achievement of getting to the Munster Final. You have done the village of Kilworth, the club and yourselves very proud so heads up, well done & thanks for everything! Kilworth Abú!
