2026 CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS

Last week, on Tuesday evening December 09th the 2026 Cork Co-Op Superstores Hurling and McCarthy Insurance Group Football County Championship draws took place at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh prior to the Annual Convention of the Cork County Board. This event which also included the Rebels Bounty draw for December was live streamed on the Cork GAA website with Kilworth being allocated the bottom seed “B” in the draw for the 2026 Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship (PIHC) grade.

The Championship structure which follows the same format as previous seasons is comprised of three groups with four teams in each. Kilworth were drawn from the pot in group three with the group consisting of Carrigaline, Valley Rovers, and Ballymartle in what will be three eagerly awaited, highly challenging and competitive clashes. Confirmed dates and venues for the Seamus Long Cup will follow in the coming days.

REBELS BOUNTY DRAW

The final Rebels Bounty draw of 2025 also took place last Tuesday evening December 09th prior to the Annual Convention of the Cork County Board. Whilst the club had no lucky winner this month, Kilworth GAA have been extremely fortunate in the Rebels Bounty draw since its formation five years ago and had another two winners in 2025. Rory Crowley collected €500 in February’s draw, with Paudie Lynch also claiming another €500 in the June draw. Sincere thanks to everyone who has supported Kilworth GAA with the Rebels Bounty draw initiative during 2025.
