STRONG FOUNDATIONS CAMPAIGN – FOR OUR AND ALL FUTURE GENERATIONS
Introduction:
The construction of our new GAA complex is well underway with Phase 1 that includes the four dressing rooms, public toilets, lift, access to the balcony, storage areas and plant room. This is forecast for completion on time and within budget towards the end of the summer 2025. Our focus has now turned to the completion of Phase 2 and the jewel in the crown of this development - Our Community Gym.
We have an opportunity to bring Phase 2 forward significantly and to complete the same alongside Phase 1, however in order to do so we will need to make up the shortfall in funding of circa €200,000 in a short period of time. It is imperative that we complete this work so the community can get the maximum benefit from the development. It is our main goal that the gym is an asset to be used by all members of the community for years to come. Once completed this gym will be open to all community members at the same rate as GAA members.
What do benefactors get:
All contributors will have their names inscribed on a benefactors wall in our new clubhouse to permanently acknowledge their key role in allowing us to complete the development.
Sponsorship options:
The sponsorship options available include a single donation of €1,000 or €500 with the following payment options available: €1,000 donation spread over 12 or 24 months equal to €19.23 per week for 12 months or €9.61 per week for 24 months ,or a €500 donation spread over 12 months equal to, €9.61 per week for 12 months.
All of the above options include one Cork GAA Rebels Bounty ticket for either 2025 or 2026. Alternative donation options can also be discussed, just approach any committee member privately to discuss how we can accommodate and acknowledge.
Club Tax Benefit:
When donating, club representatives will take you through all options and will also fill out forms which will enable the club to benefit further from revenue for these personal donations (This is at no additional cost and has no implication for the person donating).
These benefits provide significant additional value for the club such as a donation of €1000 on the standard rate of tax the club can reclaim another €250 making the total benefit to the club €1250, and for a donation of €1000 on the higher rate of tax the club can reclaim another €666.67 making the total benefit to the club €1666.67.
