MIXED RESULTS IN HURLING LEAGUES

Inniscarra 4-15 Kilworth 1-16

Our Intermediate hurlers suffered a very disappointing defeat at the hands of Inniscarra in the Red FM Division 3 hurling league played in Ballyanley last Sunday morning. The damage was inflicted early as we trailed by 12 points 3-9 to 0-6 at half time, conceding two goals in the opening 3 minutes and another from a penalty just before the short whistle. A better second half performance was to follow but the half time deficit was too much to over come with 8 points separating the sides at the final whistle.

The lads led 1-10 to 0-6 at half time, Sean Beecher with the goal with a shot from distance deceiving the keeper.
