JUNIOR HURLING LEAGUE OPENER

Our junior hurlers begin their league campaign tomorrow evening in Kilworth when the take on Mallow in the Cavanagh’s of Fermoy Division Two hurling league at 7.30pm. Best of luck to the team and management for the season ahead.

CONGRATULATIONS

Congratulation and best of luck to club referee Aidan Hyland who takes charge of his first North Cork Junior football final between Buttevant and Charleville in Mallow on Sunday evening. This is the 2020 final, Aidan was initially appointed to referee the original fixture last year however, the game was deferred due to lock down. This is a well- deserved accolade for Aidan and no doubt the first of many. Best of luck also to the four lads from his loyal band of umpires who make the final cut! 

CLUB LOTTO STANDS AT €9,200

There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €9,000 held on Tuesday June 8th. The numbers drawn were: 14, 19, 27 and 30. The lucky dip winner of €50 was John Horgan. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were: Marie O’Doherty c/o Ger Hennessy, Jamie O’Callaghan c/o online, Julie O’Mahony c/o Patsy O’Mahony. Next week’s jackpot on Monday June 14th is €9,200.
