JUNIOR HURLERS COME UP SHORT

Last Saturday evening, September 13th, our Junior hurlers travelled to Killavullen to contest old rivals and last year’s runners-up Newtownshandrum in the final of the 2025 Denis Gallagher Refrigeration JB2 Hurling Championship. In a highly entertaining, edge of the seat encounter which gave the travelling supporters great value for money, Newtown held the better hand throughout this contest, but Kilworth put up a great battle and were very unlucky in the final quarter not to pip at least an equalizer before the full time whistle. Full time score: Kilworth 1-13, Newtownshandrum 0-17.

WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s lotto jackpot of €16,800 held on Monday September 08th, the numbers drawn were: 01, 09, 24 & 31. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Jimmy & Timmy c/o Aherne’s Bar. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were John Condon c/o Centra, Jody Hallahan c/o Online, & Marie Keating c/o Davy Hogan. The jackpot prize on Monday September 15th is €17,000.
