BLACKWATER MOTORS SPONSORED ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC
Our annual Kilworth GAA club Golf Classic will take place in just two week’s time, on Friday June 20th from 8am at Fermoy Golf Club. The club would like to sincerely thank Blackwater Motors Fermoy, Cork, and Skibbereen who have come onboard again this year as the events main sponsor. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. This event, along with our weekly club lotto and the Rebels Bounty draw, is one of the clubs three main fundraisers each year with all proceeds raised from the event going directly towards our new Dressing Room and Community Gym Complex.
The details of the event are as follows: 3 players per team, 3 ball scramble format, €180 per team. Fee includes entry to Golf Classic, refreshments, and meal on completion of round, with valuable prizes up for grabs for GUI and Non-GUI teams. CONGRATULATIONS
The club would like to congratulate club player Kieran Twomey who last Friday celebrated his marriage to Cliona O’Connell. Also, congratulations to former club joint PRO Bébhinn Kenneally on her marriage to Dean Moorehouse last Saturday. We hope that ye all enjoyed the celebrations!
WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO
There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €14,000 held on Tuesday June 03rd due to the June Bank Holiday, the numbers drawn were: 17, 28, 29 and 31. The lucky dip winner of €50 was Mossie McNamara c/o Mossie McNamara. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Gerard Walshe c/o John Condon, Helen Condon c/o Online, & Joanne Hally c/o Patsy O’Mahony. Next week’s jackpot on Monday June 09th is €14,200.
Tickets cost just €2 each or three lines for €5 and they are available online, in the local business outlets or from your usual local sellers. As always, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support.
