COUNTDOWN TO KILWORTH GAA PLAYERS RUN


 The Kilworth GAA Players annual “5KM Fun Run/Walk” returns this year on St. Stephen’s Day (December 26th) @ 12 noon from the GAA pitch. Watch out for posters advertising the event which are now up and about the village. Be sure to spread the word and tell everyone you know! Registration will start in the pitch on the day @ 10am and all are welcome to take part. It is open to all runners and walkers, young and old and it is always a fantastic family day out, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. RAFFLE There will also be a raffle and refreshments on the day. Tickets are now on sale for the raffle and they cost €2 each or a book of 3 for €5 so please support and you could get your hands on some great prizes. There are several sellers around the village. The players continue to put in a fantastic effort to make sure this event is another huge success so let’s help to make that happen by taking part this year. Come and join us on St. Stephen’s Day. Let’s get out of the house and walk or run off that Christmas Dinner together! There’s always room for more treats afterwards! LOTTO JACKPOT HITS €19,000!


 There was no winner of our lotto jackpot last Monday night worth €18,850. The numbers drawn were 3, 9, 18 and 26. The lucky dip winners of €25 were: David Twomey ℅ Centra, Margaret Hennessy ℅ Dinny Twomey, Con O’ Sullivan ℅ The Village Inn and Michael A Leahy ℅ Centra. Next week’s jackpot will be €19,000. Tickets cost just €2 each or 3 lines for €5 and they are available locally in the four pubs, the Gallery Crafts and in O’Sullivan’s Centra Kilworth. BUMPER LOTTO DRAW - DECEMBER 23RD


 If the lotto isn’t won next week, on Monday December 23rd we will have a bumper lotto draw just in time for Christmas! We will have lots of extra prizes on the night including 1 X €150, 1 X €75 and 11 X €25 lucky dips along with a number of spot prizes. DEVELOPMENT MEETING


A meeting of our extended development committee will take place early in the new year as we prepare to get the ball rolling on the fundraising efforts for our upcoming development plans. Please keep a close eye on your WhatsApp Group for more details as they emerge.

NEXT CLUB MEETING


 Our next fortnightly club meeting will take place after Christmas on Monday January 6th in the club rooms at 8pm. The lotto will continue to take place on Monday nights at 8pm right through the Christmas period.

COACH NEEDED IN THE SCHOOL


 Have you got a few hours a week to spare? Are you passionate about the GAA and encouraging the skills needed in our future all stars? Then we are looking for you! Kilworth Juvenile Club needs you! We are looking for someone to help with the GAA coaching in the school. We need someone who is willing to help, encourage and keep our club thriving well into the future. Coaching experience is not a necessity. If you have any time to spare and would love to help then please contact the Juvenile Club Chairperson, Ned O Brien on 0879349071.

CONGRATULATIONS


 On behalf of the club we would like to extend our congratulations to Brian Sheehan and Aisling Desmond on the birth of their son Donnacha. The club would also like to congratulate St Colmans on their recent win of the u16 A hurling County Championship. Well done to all of the Kilara Og players involved.
