COUTDOWN TO KILWORTH GAA PLAYERS RUN

The Kilworth GAA Players annual “5KM Fun Run/Walk” returns this year on St. Stephen’s Day (December 26^th) @ 12 noon from the GAA pitch. Watch out for posters advertising the event which are now up and about the village. Be sure to spread the word and tell everyone you know! Registration will start in the pitch on the day @ 10am and all are welcome to take part. It is open to all runners and walkers, young and old and it is always a fantastic family day out, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. RAFFLE

There will also be a raffle and refreshments on the day. Tickets are now on sale for the raffle and they cost €2 each or a book of 3 for €5 so please support and you could get your hands on some great prizes. There are several sellers around the village. The players continue to put in a fantastic effort to make sure this event is another huge success so let’s help to make that happen by taking part this year. Come and join us on St. Stephen’s Day. Let’s get out of the house and walk or run off that Christmas Dinner together! There’s always room for more treats afterwards! LOTTO JACKPOT HITS €18,700! 

There was no winner of our lotto jackpot last Monday night worth €18,550. The numbers drawn were 9, 23, 25 and 29. The lucky dip winners of €25 were: Declan Walsh c/o yearly, Maurice McNamara c/o Maurice McNamara, Mattie McGrath c/o Butchers Bar and Natalie Pierce c/o Centra.

 Next week’s jackpot will be €18,700. Tickets cost just €2 each or 3 lines for €5 and they are available locally in the four pubs, the Gallery Crafts and in O’Sullivan’s Centra Kilworth. PATSY TO RECEIVE ‘HALL OF FAME’ AWARD THIS FRIDAY

This coming Friday night, a large group of us will join Patsy O’Mahony and his family at the Avondhu GAA Social in Mallow where he will receive the prestigious Avondhu ‘Hall of Fame’ Award. As we have said on many occasions Patsy is a very worthy receiver of this award and we look forward to celebrating this very special occasion with him and his family on Friday. HAPPY 80^TH BIRTHDAY WILLIE!

COACH NEEDED IN THE SCHOOL

Have you got a few hours a week to spare? Are you passionate about the GAA and encouraging the skills needed in our future all stars? Then we are looking for you! Kilworth Juvenile Club needs you! We are looking for someone to help with the GAA coaching in the school. We need someone who is willing to help, encourage and keep our club thriving well into the future.
