AGM NEXT WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Our Club AGM will take place next week on Wednesday December 4th 2019 @ 7:30pm sharp. Please arrive early to ensure the meeting can start and end on time. We invite all players and members to please attend as we reflect on 2019 both on and off the pitch. Now is a great time to be involved in the club, especially with our upcoming development so we hope to see a large turnout on the night. Please spread the word and let’s look forward to 2020!


LOTTO JACKPOT NOW WORTH €18,550! 

There was no winner of our lotto jackpot last Monday night worth €18,400. The numbers drawn were 1, 8, 17 and 24. The lucky dip winners of €25 were: Bill Hegarty c/o Yearly, Marilyn McNamara c/o Maurice McNamara, Noel Fenton c/o The Village Inn and Barry O’Connor c/o Online. Next week’s jackpot will be €18,550. BUMPER LOTTO DRAW

On Monday December 23rd we will have a bumper lotto draw just in time for Christmas! We have loads of extra prizes on the night so be sure to get your numbers in on time and you could be a winner! Spread the word and thank you as always to all those who continue to play our lotto each week.


DRAW MADE FOR NEXT YEAR’S SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP

Last week the draws were made for next year’s Senior ‘A’ Hurling Championship and we are in Group B with Fr. O’Neills, Bride Rovers and Ballymartle. There is an exciting 2020 in store and we relish the challenge ahead! With the new system we will have a minimum of three games next year and fingers crossed we’ll have many more than that to look forward to!


COACH NEEDED IN THE SCHOOL

Have you got a few hours a week to spare? Are you passionate about the GAA and encouraging the skills needed in our future all stars? Then we are looking for you! Kilworth Juvenile Club needs you! We are looking for someone to help with the GAA coaching in the school. We need someone who is willing to help, encourage and keep our club thriving well into the future. Coaching experience is not a necessity. If you have any time to spare and would love to help out then please contact the Juvenile Club Chairperson, Ned O Brien on 0879349071.


KILWORTH GAA PLAYERS RUN

The Kilworth GAA Players annual “5km Fun Run/Walk” will take place once again this year on St. Stephen’s Day (December 26th) @ 12 noon from the GAA pitch. Watch out for posters advertising the event which will go up in the coming weeks and be sure to spread the word with everyone you know! Registration will start on the day @ 10am and all are welcome to take part. It is open to all runners and walkers and it is always a fantastic family day out, enjoyed by everyone. There will be a raffle and refreshments on the day also. The players, as always are putting a fantastic effort in to make sure this event is another huge success so let’s help to make that happen by taking part this year. Come and join us on St. Stephen’s Day. Let’s get out of the house and walk or run off that Christmas Dinner together! There’s always room for more treats afterwards! CONGRATULATIONS

On behalf of the club we would like to congratulate Kilworth girls Ruby Coffey and Aoibhe Carey on making the Cork Ladies U16 football panel. This is a wonderful achievement girls, well done!


We would also like to congratulate Noel Flynn and his wife on the birth of their baby daughter last week. We hope you are all doing well and enjoying your new arrival.
