PATSY’S AWARD NIGHT

As you all know by now, our own Patsy O’Mahony will be inducted into the Avondhu Hall of Fame on Friday December 6^th in the Hibernian Hotel, Mallow at the Avondhu Social. Patsy has, and continues to do incredible work for the North Cork Board, Rebel Óg and our own club here in Kilworth. He is incredibly worthy of this award and we hope to see a big crowd from Kilworth in Mallow on the night to support him and congratulate him. If you are interested in going, please let us know by Monday November 18^th as we will need to order tickets and should we have a big enough crowd, we may look to organise a bus. The date for this year’s AGM has been set and it will take place in the club rooms on Wednesday December 4^th 2019 @ 7:30pm sharp. Please arrive early to ensure the meeting can start and end on time. We invite all players and members to please attend as we reflect on 2019 both on and off the pitch. Now is a great time to be involved in the club, especially with our upcoming development so we hope to see a large turnout on the night. Please spread the word and let’s look forward to 2020!

CONGRATULATIONS

On behalf of the club we would like to congratulate Kilshannig GAA on capturing the Cork County Junior ‘A’ Football Championship title at the weekend. We hope you are all enjoying the celebrations, they are well deserved. Well done to all involved.

Congratulations to one of our lotto sellers, Ger Hennessy’s Hair Salon on winning ‘Team of the Year’ at the Irish Hair and Beauty Awards recently. We hope you all enjoyed this wonderful achievement.

We would also like to congratulate another one of our lotto sellers, Cooke’s Café @ the Gallery Crafts on winning a Silver Award at the Blas na hÉireann Awards recently. It is wonderful to see our local businesses doing so well. Congratulations to all involved.

Finally we would like to congratulate the Kilworth Dramatic Society on their wonderful production of ‘Nobody’s Talking to Me’ over the past two weeks. The comedy was a roaring success and it had everyone roaring laughing throughout. Well done to all involved.
