CONGRATULATIONS THOMAS!

On behalf of the club we would like to congratulate our wonderful juvenile player Thomas Maher on playing with the Cork hurlers at half time in the Cork V Waterford game in Pairc Úi Chaoimh last Saturday evening. Thomas displayed some wonderful skill and it was fantastic to see him in the red and white of Cork. He has a very bright future ahead and there is no doubt we will see him in a Cork jersey again in the future. Well done again Thomas on a very proud moment for you, your family and the club last Saturday

WONDERFUL WEEKEND OF FÉILE ACTION

Last weekend is one that will live long in the memory of Kilworth people for the wonderful success of Féile 2019 in the village. On Friday afternoon last Kilworth Juvenile Club welcomed Mount Leinster from Carlow and Kilworth Camogie Club welcomed Wolfe Tones from Longford as we hosted both clubs for the weekend. There were wonderful displays of both hurling and camogie in the pitch from Friday evening right through to Sunday. On behalf of the club we would like to congratulate both clubs on a very successful and memorable weekend. You both put in a tremendous amount of work leading up to the event, in cleaning the pitch and organising host families and also over the course of the weekend. You both are lucky to have wonderful committees and a fantastic group of volunteers who all played their part in Féile 2019. It didn’t go unnoticed. You have done your club and the village proud and it was brilliant to see. We look forward to its return again in the future!

GOLF CLASSIC SPONSORS

There was a mistake made in the list of sponsors from the Golf Classic two weeks ago. Sincere apologies to Tony Baker of Autofind who was very kindly a sponsor of the Golf Classic and was unintentionally omitted from the notes. We would like to thank you very much for your support and apologies again for the mistake.
