FÉILE COMES TO KILWORTH THIS WEEKEND!

This weekend Féile will come to Kilworth for the first time in many years as we are one of the host clubs for this year’s event. These is sure to be a brilliant buzz around the village for the entire weekend with the Kilworth Camogie and Kilworth Juvenile clubs both hosting teams from Longford and Carlow respectively. Proceedings will kick off on Friday evening in the pitch @ 5:30pm and there will be a number of games taking place in the pitch over the weekend. All are welcome to attend and we hope to see large crowds around to support our teams. Best of luck to all involved and let’s make this a weekend to remember!


LOTTO JACKPOT HITS €14,800!!!

There was no winner of our lotto jackpot last Monday night worth €14,650. The numbers drawn were 1, 2, 17 and 23. The lucky dip winners of €25 were: Annette McHugh c/o yearly ticket, Fergal O’Connell c/o online, Aidan O’Brien c/o John Sheehan and Will Twomey c/o Centra. Next week’s jackpot will be €14,800. Tickets cost just €2 each or 3 lines for €5 and they are available locally in the four pubs, the Gallery Crafts and in O’Sullivan’s Centra Kilworth. KILWORTH INTO QUARTER-FINAL

Following the draws last week, Kilworth received a bye in round three and they are now straight into the quarter-finals! We will play the winners of Game B (Aghada V Youghal/Carrigaline). Exciting times ahead as we await our opponents.

On behalf of the club we would like to sincerely thank everyone who has put in a great effort to clean the pitch grounds and the club house over the last number of days. The place is looking brilliant and it was great to see so many involved in the big clean up. We greatly appreciate your help! Just one thing  we would like everyone to take on board please going forward - Dog fouling - Please DO NOT leave your dogs on the pitches & for those who do bag up after their dog, please DO NOT dispose of it in the pitch bin where children are playing. Thank you.
