GOLFERS TEE OFF IN BLACKWATER MOTORS SPONSORED GOLF CLASSIC

The day is nearly here! On Friday May 17th will see the golfers tee off in this year’s Kilworth GAA Club annual golf classic at Fermoy Golf Club. Our main sponsor of the event this year is Blackwater Motors of Fermoy and we are very grateful to have them on board for 2019. On behalf of the club we would like to sincerely thank them for their support this year. As always, all monies taken in during this event are set aside specifically for developments within the club grounds. And as you are all aware, we have big plans ahead for next year with the development of our brand new state-of-the-art club house and pitch facilities with the overall cost of the project expected to be approximately €750,000. But this will not be possible if we do not raise the much needed funds to make this dream a reality.

You can still support the Golf Classic by purchasing a raffle ticket! As part of the raffle for this year’s event, we have a massive first prize on offer! Win one week’s accommodation on the beautiful canary island of Fuerteventura (flights not included)! Who wouldn’t love a holiday in the sun?! Second prize is a 32 inch LED Smart TV so you can watch all of your favourite shows and third prize is a €100 voucher for ‘Jacob’s in the Mall’ in Cork. Raffle tickets are on sale NOW!! You will find them on sale around the village and beyond so please be sure and support for your chance to win! The announcement of the golf classic winners (GUI and Non-GUI) and the presentation of prizes will take place in Cotters Bar on Friday night (time to be confirmed.) All are very welcome to attend! On behalf of the club we would like to wish all the golfers taking part in the classic the very best of luck. We would also like to sincerely thank all those who have supported the classic to date in the form of entering a team or sponsoring a tee box. Here’s hoping for a great day of golfing!
